My approach is to offer a safe space in which to explore the deeper meanings that often underlie difficult personal times. With the integration of philosophy with psychology I believe that we can become more attuned to ourselves and others, helping us to live with more passion and meaning.

As an experienced practitioner I have been working in the counselling and psychotherapy arena for a number of years in various settings in the UK, The Netherlands and Australia. I have trained in various institutions including Durham University; The New School for Psychotherapy and Counselling, London; Newcastle Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy Centre; and The Northern Guild for Psychological Solutions.

I am a full clinical member of UK Council for Psychotherapy, the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, the Universities Psychotherapy & Counselling Association, and the Society for Existential Analysis. Currently, I am involved in doctoral research with Middlesex University and the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling, London.
